Colony Red Hots Championships

 

This Saturday was Championships for the Colony Red Hots.  The Red Hots had a total of 81 time improvements.  The Red Hots also had two new records set at Championships.  Cullen Chow broke the record that had stood since 1993 in the 25 meter butterfly for 5/6 year old boys by swimming the race in 17.61.   Cullen Chow also broke the record, which was previously set in 1997, in the 25 meter freestyle for 5/6 year old boys by swimming a time of 17.61.  Cullen Chow was also able to place in second for all three of his events in Championships this Saturday!

 

Teddy Pham placed in third place or better in all three of his events, and Timothy Pham placed in sixth place or better in all of his events!

 

The Colony Red Hots had many other great swims at Championships.  Quite a few swimmers finished in the top five in at least one of their events.  Those swimmers were: Chris Allmann, Jonah Hobbs, Kevin Kohlhase, Rachel Mucho, and Kayla Nguyen.

 

Swimmers who placed in the top ten in at least one event were: Gwen Baxter, Britney Cao, Kaitlen Clarke, Preston Fox, Tony Masangkay, Emma Paul, Evan Tom, and Nicole Tom.

 

Jaclyn Paul and Bella Poblete had time improvements of five seconds or greater.

 

Red Hot swimmers who had time improvements in three events were: Austin Barbrick, Justine Brown, Cassandra Chow, Jordan Fox, Jacob Lee, Jerry Lee, Katherine Nguyen, and Julia Rausch.  Congratulations, it is quite an accomplishment to even qualify for three events!

 

Swimmers who had at least one time improvement at Championships were: Joshua Baxter, Karthik Bhamidipati, Caleb Chow, Allison Doty, Steward Erdahl, Erica Koyama, Miki Koyama, Abigail, Lee, Kaitlyn Lee, Krysten Lee, Miles Malohn, Nicholas McGehee, Gabriel Miyake, Ryan Montis, Alana Nguyen, Andrew Nguyen, Kaitlin Nguyen, Katelynn Nguyen, Gail Nishimura, Macy Nuttall, Milan Nuttall, Jaden Park, Kenneth Patterson, McKenna Patton, Alexandra Paul, Jackson Paul, Claire Poissonnier, Brandon Raymundo, Alexander Rodriguez, Alexis Tom, Thuy-Linh Ton, Krystal Tran, and Andrew Yasrebi.
