The Red Hots had a total of 81 time improvements. The Red Hots also had two new records set at Championships. Cullen Chow broke the record that had stood since 1993 in the 25 meter butterfly for 5/6 year old boys by swimming the race in 17.61. Cullen Chow also broke the record, which was previously set in 1997, in the 25 meter freestyle for 5/6 year old boys by swimming a time of 17.61. Cullen Chow was also able to place in second for all three of his events in Championships this Saturday! Read more... Colony Red Hots vs. Deerfield Bluefins and South Irvine Dolphins 8/4/2011 The Colony Red Hots had a terrific meet last Saturday against the Deerfield Bluefins and the South Irvine Dolphins. The Red Hots had a total of 96 time improvements and 90 qualifying times! This was a great way for the team to head into the Championship Meet. Cullen Chow had an amazing meet as he took first place and had qualifying times in all three of his events. Aparna Alluri had a time improvement of over 56 seconds in the 50 meter breaststroke! Another Red Hot swimmer who achieved a time improvement of over 10 seconds was Erica Koyama. read more... Colony Red Hots - Meet Report for July 16, 2011 7/18/2011 Colony Red Hots vs Village Park Piranhas-The Colony Red Hots had a great meet last Saturday against the Village Park Piranhas. The Red Hots earned a total of 113 time improvements and 79 qualifying times. Red Hots with time improvements of over ten seconds were Luke Gibson and Claudia Kiso. Iszak Hemberger had a notable time improvement of 22.94 seconds in his 100 yard individual medley, and Krystal Tran turned in the largest time improvement of the day, dropping 30.77 seconds in her 25 yard butterfly. March 26th Swim season runs from June 1th to August 14th for ages 5 to 18. Practice sessions are daily Mon-Fri for approximately 1 hour, generally between 3:30pm - 6:30pm. The time and length of practice sessions are dependent upon the age group. All new swimmers must be water-safe and are encouraged to have completed a basic swim or water-safety class prior to the beginning of the swim season. read more... Colony Red Hots vs Deerfield Bluefins 8/3/2010 The Colony Red Hots has 125 time improvements in their meet with the Deerfield Bluefins. This meet resulted in 100 ISL qualifying times. Cassandra Chow had an incredible performance placing first in all 4 of her events: 9-10 girls 50 yard backstroke, 50 yard individual medley, 50 yard freestyle, and mixed 200 freestyle relay. Teddy Pham took 3 first places on events 11-12 boys 50 yard backstroke, 50 yard breaststroke, and mixed 200 medley relay. Read more... President's Upate 7/26/2010 Great meet Saturday!
